Earthlink Scam
 

I don't know if anyone here is using Earthlink, but a friend of mine has been getting (alot of) phone calls and emails over the last few weeks saying there's a problem with her account (billing) and they need her to fax over her credit card information.

Heads up: It ain't Earthlink. I had her call Earthlink to verify everything first, and it turns out they've been investigating this for a while. Supposedly, they busted someone today. But not the whole operation.

Stinks of the similar Paypal scams to me.
