Using myphpnuke or php-nuke to build a paysite good or bad?
I am looking around for a good community script to manage a paysite I am working on at the moment.
I was to have a custom made script made up but now I found these two and next question is ofcourse... Good or bad to build a paysite in these programs? |
depends
Probably bad.
Why bad?
All depends on how stable the script it. I used phpnuke on a mainstream site and I wasnt to happy with it.
lastest versions are pretty damned stable... Just not sure how it stands up for a pay site.
Gotta link so we can take a look? |
Probably bad because they don't really do the time-saving things of a paysite, have been known to be unstable in the past, have been known to have security problems in the past, and gobble up system resources.
Well no I dont have any link to my site...
but to php its http://www.myphpnuke.com Looks like alot of options. |
CumSensei take a look at geeklog, so fast installation, more secure than any other php portal, it hasn't as many features as phpnuke and not as big comunity, but still good enought, i use it on a portal and it's ok. Hit me up on icq and i will show it to you running.
