Sorry to have to bring this to the boards but what else can one do? It's been well over 18 months now..... Teen Angel (AKA: Ricki Lee) has been fucked over royally by two people. They know who they are, and if they think anyone has forgotten their little bullshit treatment of her they are sadly mistaken.

I recommend that no designers do design work for these two monkeys until it is posted here that they have paid Ricki Lee what they owe her. I further recommend that no one use either of their services until this outstanding delinquency is resolved.

Hungryman once complained that if he isn't getting any work then how can he pay his debts?.... well, I backed off then to allow him to earn that money.... he never paid her.

Pensfan/Buck Naked told me man-to-man that he WOULD pay her. He spoke of making smaller payments to her until the debt was covered, and TA confimed to me that that would be fine. She has to date received not one single payment.


Time to suffer.

If any of you care about the level of professionalism and trust in this industry, you won't forget what has been done to Teen Angel here. This isn't right, not by a long shot. I still can't beleive that two otherwise likeable guys have saw fit to treat a very talented designer so shabbily. Frankly, I'm disgusted. There was a time when I could have called you friend.

This thread isn't about bitching, there is no room for it. Work was done, debt was incurred, money was not paid.

It isn't about me having any sort of agenda. I know TA from the porncity bbs, and consider her a good friend. She isn't all that comfortable raising another huge board fuss over this, and I offered to help her out. I don't like seeing people I like fucked over like this. You shouldn't either.

the sad thing about a guy like Pensfan is that he's really talented, but he'd rather steal a dime than earn a dollar. He worked for me about two months, collected unemployment for about a year. Sold me just about all of Bestat's toon content (exclusivecontent.com) when he had no ownership of it. Gave me a great deal though!

Last summer i paid him to design me 20 galleries...i paid him all money in advance and i got design for 2 galleries after 3 months!!!!And one design was done by him and other design was stollen from some sponsor site...he just copied that gallery and paste it to me,so he still owns me 18 designed galleries or money...I paid him 50$ for each gallery to be done so u see how much money was that...not maybe big money for someone but for me then it was,and even i get one stollen design and only one real which could be make by a 3 year old child.My nickname on ICQ was Munja then,...now i changed icq but i am 100% shure he remember me well couse he owns me big money for that..this is first time i told to anyone but i had too couse now i see i am not the only one screwed here...Hope u will get that bastard to pay all he owns!!!

But Paul my friend, you left off one vital thing here.... you were paid by the client for TA's work that she did for you. Paul... you were paid in full. That payment from the client included TA's fees. You chose to keep those fees rather than pay her for her work. Why? Being "down on your luck" isn't a good enough reason for stealing, and after this long a time Paul, what other term would you like me to attribute this?



And I don't know exactly what the duration of the debt is. I do know that it is a long time, it may be 10 or 12 months, it may be closer to a year and a half. TA would know for sure of the exact dates. That is not the issue though.

So you're saying you backed them even when you know they were scamming the designers who REALLY did the work? If so, then you're somehow responsible on this matter. See, this guy Hungryman is a con artist, and he ALWAYS gets another chance from "buddies" to keep scamming people. I'm too lazy to do a search here or on almost any other board I know, but I can assure you he's not exactly somebody to "back off". And if he's in so many troubles, well, what can I say? Maybe he'd start to do his own work, pay his dues, respect people, etc? Don't you think the people he screwed has financial problems and he's one of the responsible for this situation?

A funny one: Once I made a design and the client was very happy and she told me "I'll show your design to Hungryman". By that time I didn't know who was he and she told me he's one of the biggest and better designers. Dunno if she told him about me or not, but luckily I've never had any biz with him :321GFY

I took it on the word from both of these guys that it would be done, so yes, I refrained from bitching and complaining on all the boards in order to let them do what they said they would do.

Now here we are 5 months later, and I am solving this issue once and for all. So keep the incorrect comments and false assumptions to a dull roar, okay .... harvey? Thanks buddy.

For the record, Buck naked has now contacted me about HIS debt to TA. I have ICQ logs safely stored (just in case), but he has assured me that he intends to pay her. He has gone through all the usual rotten things in life and has fallen on hard times..... I suggested that he start by paying TA a few bucks here and there, like even ten or twenty dollars every few weeks or so via paypal. I suggested that if he had of done this and stayed in contact with her, we wouldn't be dealing with this issue today. He agreed.

I will await to hear from Teen Angel as to Buck starting some small good-faith payments to her.

Everyone here is absolutely FANTASTIC! I am so glad we have such a close community. It is really like having a bunch of brothers and sisters to help you out!

Hungryman has not contacted me. Penfan, bucknaked whatever he calls himself now, has has left a few messages for me... however, I will hold back what was said. We will see if I actually get paid or not! I have heard EVERY promise under teh sun.

That is the thing with these con artists.. they just keep dangling everything in front of you.

As for Paul... HOo many times have I said to go and get a regular job like everyone else here would/has had to do during "bad times". Your reply to me is simply I can't. WHY THE HECK NOT! I know you have at least 4 other debts than mine... people in debt normally get a second job even a third if they have to.. It is called being a grown up and taken responsibility for your own actions and life!
