At this point, since I had a useless router, I called linksys to get an RMA... this is when they told me to go online to fill-out the RMA form (which is really difficult if you use a router to get onto the internet, and your internet is MAC specific)... After explaining this to the person on the phone (3 or 4 times), they filled out the RMA on the phone and after calling in another 2 or 3 times was able to get the actual RMA sent to me. This is where the "second" unit comes into play. Still not having my wireless capabilities (with neither the WPC11 ver. 2.5 nor 3.0) I upgraded to the new 1.2 rev 6. NOW, although my router will still act as a switch, the Diag and WLAN light flash at the same time. I am also no longer able to reach the HTML settings page (nor am I even able to receive a response from a ping sent to the router's ip). I wanted to send this so that people out there (hopefully Linksys especially) can see the problem with their unit and fix it.

fuck all that.... I'm not fucking up a perfectly good router.

nevermind.... nothing to see here folks.... move along now.
