Well actually my mother-in-law is having problems with her computer. She is getting popup after popup from a website called :ak47: top-banners.com

I installed adware 6.0 it cant stop it. I installed a new copy of Norton's so it scans incoming and outgoing email, but the anitvirus when checking files for Trojans and shit cant find nothing. Can someone tell me something to kill this problem.

On the laptop I am posting from, there are over 3500 .exe/.scr files infected with W32.Parite-A. I shit you not. :mad:

Ok tried spybot it found all kind of shit. After it ran I rebooted the computer soon as windows poped up I was hit with 10 new windows. Reinstalling the browser now.

if you ran spybot you shouldn't need to re-install your browser. Did you remove all of the files it found?

Yeah I removed them... Still getting popups Im trying to see who this fuck is from top-banners.com

You should also check and clean the reg-edit manually and specially look for auto-dialers or other shit that might be in your computer.

I had a dialer that everytime I tried to unistall it it re-installed itself + it did pop tons of windows :mad:

And also do a file find for the file named hosts... edit it and put in

127.0.0.1 top-banners.com

No more top-banners for you.
