You can have all the content if you can put everything on a USB Flash Dive. Over 60 hardcore scenes and 10k photos all with 2257 docs.

Perhaps you could just buy a firewire card for your PC? Shouldn't cost much, and alleviates the possibility of an adaptor going wrong and damaging the drive?

About a decade ago and for similar reasons, I purchased a really cheap (probably $100-ish) second hand laptop which already came with two different firewire ports.

Not sure if that's worth it for you, but it's an option... These days, such old laptop types must be even cheaper to pick up. Might as well turn it into a little backup machine or something.
