If its your first bike, then buy something easy to drive, like a cruiser (Yamaha wildstar or kawasaki Vulcan) or a open bike like Yamaha fazer 600 |

Sold my Harley not that long ago.
Cant wait till i get a new one :Graucho |
Hi,
Harley's are the way to go :) I have a 1997 fatboy, all custom, chrome, etc. I love riding the hog on a nice sunny day :) |
Bikes are the best.
I got my first motorcycle when I was 10 Years old. For a starter bike I would recommend a mid 70's Honda 400/4. Small, Light, fast enough, easy to find parts, reliable, and who cares if you drop it and beat it up? These days I have 52 Pan/Shovel Rigid Chopper, full custom, hand made everything. (I actually tore it back down and have just finished welding in a new front section for the frame) 66 Guzzi 73 Laverda 78 HD XLCR 56 James Colonel 89 Honda Dominator 84 Husky 400 2 stroke 73 Suzuki 750 2 stroke And then theres some basket cases lying around the shop too. <rant> Just sold my last Ducati, Ive had several and Ill never buy another. Beautiful machines, but the support and service in North America is pathetic. Unless you like getting ass raped over punk little details while ignorant and unskilled T Shirt salesman try to tell you how to set up a track bike. </rant> |
