You know what's the hardest thing to deal with is other parents that are not responsible.

You have to let your kid have friends. And inevitably they say can I go over to play at Tommy's house. And the first time you say ok, you sit there worrying your ass off about shit like guns, pedo's in the house, playing with matches, all sorts of stuff.

So one day I let my kid go to play at a friends house. He come's back and I asked him what did you play and do with your friend. And my son goes, he showed me all his daddy's bullets and guns.

I nearly had a fucking heart attack on the spot. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and this was when he was 6 years old. I went over to the kids house and freaked on the kids father. Telling him what my son had told me they were playing with and why he had bullets and guns where the kids could get to them.

And the stupid fucker starts giving me attitude like I'm being a worry wart for nothing and that his kid has already gone hunting with him and knows not to put the bullets in the gun.

I'm sitting there ready to lose it completely thinking how horse ass stupid is this mofo.

Anyway the guy eventually saw my point and said he would lock them up whenver my son came over to play, which after that incident I never let him go to that kids house again.

I'm telling you, you think porn is hard work? Trying raising a kid in this day and age. You'll be an old man before you know it from all the stress, especially if you are a single parent.

Invite your sons' friends over to your house instead of him going there. I'm sure there's plenty of fun stuff for the both of them to do at your place. This way, you feel better knowing that BOTH of the kids are being cared for, plus your son still gets to have some fun with his friends. Once you start to know the kid and his family, then your son can start going to his/her house to play.

That's what I would do. I don't trust other parents... no way in hell would I let my kid go to another place when I don't know the family. If anything, take them to a public place like a park or the game center at the mall. Maybe even a ball game...

Only problem I had 3 Police K-9 trained attack dogs in the house. two have since died, but my big boy who is the most protective is still here. Tough situation for liability. And my kid always says can I show my friends how our K9 will attack burglars. Yeh just what I need.

When you have kids you learn the meaning of frustration to its fullest levels. Its very very very hard work. Don't have them until you are ready to deal with all that it requires or you will literally go insane from it all.

there is one reason i don't like weed....

my gf's parents have ALWAYS smoked weed in their basement, about every day for years n' years... and they have 3 kids. when they smoke it, it stinks up the whole fucking house and it ends up becomming very annoying and smelling like shit.. .and if one of the kid's friends comes over they can't enter the house if they're smoking weed cause it smells so bad.

My mom called children services on my dad a couple times for various reasons, I'm still not really sure why. They came out, talked with my brothers and I, said nothing was wrong, and left.

My dad grew up on an old school farm, so of course he would get tanned every now and then for misbehaving. I got smacked on the ass a couple times... but guess what? After those couple times I got sick of it and straightened out real quick.

Last time I got smacked I think I was 12. Was ignoring somebody that was asking me questions. Haha, I don't ignore people anymore. :winkwink:
