Speeding up Window's Start Menu
Click on Start, then Programs, and then mouse over the directories and you'll notice the annoying wait that takes place (unless you click each time) before the directories open up on their own. Does anyone know where in the registry I can set that wait time to 0 (seconds)?
There are a lot of Windows (XP) tweaks out there, but I haven't found this one yet. |

registry -->
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop Give "MenuShowDelay" a lower value |
uhhps.. you'll need to restart or to log off/ on for the changes to take effect
setting it to '0' means no menu delay |
Requires reboot, but works, thanks!
Default value is 0.4 seconds... (why?) |
