Is it possoble to update DNS less then in 48 hours?
Heard someone had their dns updated in 4 hours?
is that possible? |

Mine usually takes around 24. But different zones throughout the world might not be updated yet.

depends on your dns server..
I run my own and have the time to live as a very short time.. like 1 hour or so so when I update my dns records it propgates in about an hour. |
depends on when you registered the domain if it's a new registration.
for dns CHANGES it depends usually on the TTL (time to live) you have set for the domains (your nameserver has it set) - that will help it expire quicker for everyone who has it cached (which is why it takes 24-48 hours for changes to show up a lot of the time) - you can set your TTL to anything. some companies set it to VERY low because of tons of dns changes occuring all the time.. |
