I no longer have the energy :(

.

blackmonsters 05-25-2022 05:35 PM

I mow and rake the lawn or just invent some work outside the house and then I have new energy.

Today I stayed inside; but scrubbed a wood floor and hallway.

The less time I have to post, the more energy I have.

Hmmmmmmmm.

:)

You're strong enough to show weakness (and on this merciless place!) . . . We love you, sarettah.

Mowing gives you energy? I absolutely hate it. I've been trying to slowly replace my grass with other stuff over the years (pavers, decks, swimming pool, vegetable garden, etc) and i've cut down my mowing time in half.

I get the energy after kicking some motherfucker's ass when needed. Anger brings the energy if you intent to act and get what you need

I do a ton of DIY shit nowadays, home reno, house work, yard work, and especially working on my cars. I enjoy doing this stuff.

Really anything to get away from the computer :Oh crap

JesseQuinn 06-13-2022 05:21 PM

you need to read Fight Night by Toews. not about physical fighting, just fighting to stay strong and alive and laughing at sorrow and fuckery and never giving up

my best friend here comes over everyday and sweeps and scoops the cat litter before I can even get to it. at 8am I am NOT in cleaning mode. we're not even sleeping together, just vibe really well

there's violent anger and then there is anger that keeps up fighting to stay alive. a quote from the book mentioned:

we are small things and we must learn to fight. inner struggles the best way to paraphrase

@S you and your girl can visit me any time. we can go down to the beach and swim and chill and watch the pelicans play and forget the world has gone insane. I end up falling asleep on the couch most nights anyway reading. can't work right now anyway cuz pretty beaten up by a jobless dude I offered to hire to manage my twitter. I loathe social media, and psychos with untreated mental illness

if you leave this place it would be so much poorer for it

worst decade of my life thus far and I'm not giving up. so fight ffs <3

just choose your battles wisely, which I know you can do

MakeMeGrrrrowl 06-13-2022 05:48 PM

Well that stinks.

Sorry Sarretah

brassmonkey 06-13-2022 06:19 PM

Roofing : Worse job ever.
I never felt so free while doing it because I was off the computer!

I tore off shingles and them picked them up off the ground and put them in the dumpster.
No guess work, no figuring it out, no wonder if it's working and most of all :

No mofo emailing me after the job for support.

However training, running do gives me energy.

I get new energy from saving animals, spending time with animals, working in the nature, switch off all devices and go back to what really counts.

For sure there is not the one solution that fits for all of us. Everybody needs to find out, what is best... but switching off internet sometimes...is good for all of us...
