iBill cant do VISA!! Did they tell u??!!
Here's an extract from Intercept's (iBill's owner) latest report:
"Additionally, we are not able to acquire transactions on behalf of foreign sponsored merchants, unless the transaction is from an acquirer within the sponsored merchant's region. We have established relationships with a foreign bank to serve as iBill's acquiring bank. If we fail to comply with the new Visa rule, Visa may fine our acquiring bank, which will in turn seek indemnification from us. We were notified on Wednesday, May 14, 2003 that our acquiring bank plans to suspend our Visa account on Friday, May 16, allegedly due to our failure to comply with applicable Visa rules. We believe we are in compliance with those Visa rules. This action, if it occurs, will effectively terminate our ability to process Visa transactions in Europe. Those transactions contribute approximately 4-6% of our aggregate merchant processing revenues. We have urged representatives of the bank to withdraw this threat. Although we intend to pursue all available legal remedies for this action, we cannot as a practical matter replace the acquiring bank in this time frame, and we could lose a majority, if not all, of the revenues from our Visa transactions in Europe if the bank follows through with its threatened action." http://biz.yahoo.com/e/030515/icpt10-q.html# - it's mostly cover-their-ass statements about possible future doom and gloom, but the one above looks pretty concrete. I hate to be an opportunist everyone, but if you need a solution to this problem contact me at [email protected] |

Take the spam somewhere else fucko! and gofuckyourself! |
Nice scare-mongering. If you actually read what you posted, you would note that it applies only to iBill Europe.
|
WOW!!!! It states "This action, if it occurs, will effectively terminate our ability to process Visa transactions in Europe"
And all you guys think is SPAM...dont get me wrong, I love the USA, (born in LA), but wake up, the adult business is global and Europe is a big part of that....but hey fuck it! Go Fuck yourself!:BangBang: |

You know, this subject is pretty irresponsible.
"iBill cant do VISA!! Did they tell u??!!" is just not not true. Visa represents only a small part of European transactions. Your sensationalism of this issue is unacceptable. Congratulations, you've succeeded in looking like a man whose handle is indeed BigBucks with THIRTEEN POSTS to your name. Bear in mind, I am NOT standing behind IBill, but nonetheless taking cheap shots is just wrong. If you can't figure out a better way to get your competing service's name out there, you probably should hire someone competent in marketing. |
ok ok, it was a cheap shot! i'm a grown child i can accept it!
I BigBucks apologise for the horrific attempt of trying to get business by simply roasting another company's communication policy..... but....I still cant believe that as potential client of iBills' you wouldnt be super super pissed that they did not tell you about this...some webmasters have been buying UK traffic...that could really put them in a fix! Anyway rest assured the mighty BigBucks has been silenced on this issue.:feels-hot |

Ibill has now posted this in their CMI:
VISA EU Update It has been recently reported that iBill received notice that its acquiring bank in Europe was considering a suspension of iBill's VISA processing for foreign sponsored merchants. Currently, we are continuing to process EU VISA transactions. We are working toward a resolution of this issue, which affects not only iBill, but IPSPs with a relationship with our EU processor. US merchants are unaffected regarding this issue. To avoid any confusion, please be assured that merchants based in the US can process domestic and international credit cards as per usual. **** Let's not blow this way out of proportion, shall we? And no, you're not supposed to air other people's dirty laundry for your own gain. It doesn't make you look good. It makes you look like a rat. If you have a good business angle, market that, and if your businesss/service is better, then people will realize that and you will likely come out on top. Why would a customer put his money with someone who is less ethical than the company he's already with? |
Ibill is still processing for EU.
However after this nonsense I doubt anyone of note will use your company. |

Not only that, BigBucks has been spamming his new program on every webmaster board out there, but the comments so far haven't been that positive |
