This is what pornhub wants to verify someone.

· A Pornhub account
· 1 piece of government-issued photo ID for yourself and each additional performer
· A computer or smartphone with a camera to perform a live face scan using biometric data

I can only speak for myself when I say that biometric data is outside of my comfort zone.

With biometric data you have to ask yourself:

1. Who is asking for it?
2. Do you trust them?

I don't get to say this often but pornhub has a controversial reputation worse than mine.

When considering that even companies with impeccably good reputations get hacked and

It's just the audacity of having to provide legal proof to upload the content to a site that was founded on everything but that, it's laughable, fucked up.

Right now I'm working on an article about this current problem.

I've emailed Pornhub asking for their comments on the situation but I've received no r
response as of yet.

So I'll link the story when I'm done and hopefully it lights a fire under someone's ass at
Pornhub and they respond. I suspect that I'm not being ignored in as much as they
don't consider me big enough to worry about. (Technically they're right)

Seems like a great opportunity for people to start their own sites.
Plenty of uploaders will not comply and that will shrink the size of that tube.
