While I'm a pro Apple guy and a mac user, I find the latest Apple commercials for Apple Music to be the worst I have ever seen in my entire life and they aren't going to help Apple. If Apple would just get the artists that appear in the long videos about the products such as U2 and on and on to appear in Apple Music commercials then it would generate buzz to people who are fans of them and in general and would work much better. These current commercials are so fucking horrible.

funny apple ad

they annoy the shit outa me, but guess what....you remember em

everyone does, and do you remember the price? of course, 99 cents per song

so I wouldnt say the commercials are a bad move for applemusic, although I hope applemusic, apple computers and that slim shady singing kid all die in some sort of chemical fire

nocostporn 05-19-2003 03:42 PM

anybody gave it a try? I'm sure the selection is limited but if it wasnt I would use it...better than the inconvience of getting fucked files on P2P's

grogan 05-19-2003 03:53 PM

nocost

fuck that, what problems are you having with downloaded songs? just make sure the quality/integrity is cool, and in the rare case one sounds bad, download a different sized one...takes what 20 seconds?

you wont catch me payin for music unless i absolutely cant find it on p2p or if I really really like some kinda bonus artwork or bio that comes with it

I mean,I don't really have a problem paying for music.Somebody made the shit,I think they should be compensated..If there was a paypersong system that had EVERY copyrighted song ever made, crystal clear cd quality.I would pay...why not? I'm in an industry that I could be shunned for life if I used somebody elses content, shouldnt be much different for music...

The selection is somewhat limited I think they have a little over 215,000 tracks on there now and there are some gaps that need to be filled but they are trying to work the licensing out to do so. I have bought some stuff off of there and will continue to do so, I have never minded paying for music personally, I like the free previews myself and the full album price is cheaper at about 9.99 for a full album. They also are adding pre release and exclusive stuff that can't be found anywhere else and new releases on Tuesday as it's the industry release date. So overall it's pretty good, if it gets cheaper that will be even better, but .99 is not too much for me.

grogan 05-19-2003 05:33 PM

yes, they should be compensated

by the people who are scared of stealing it

if you make a disc full of good songs, I may buy it. but even still, I make mp3 discs for use in my car and my personal mp3 disc player, so regular cds do me no good anyway

as far as buying mp3s for a buck a piece, its just not gonna happen for me, I download thousands of tracks a month
