I really enjoy Neil Peart's books. "Traveling Music" and "Roadshow" are my favorites. Just re-read "Roadshow" a couple weeks ago, as a matter of fact.

I think you have a point. In 1974 a very small number of record company executives determined what we would listen to.

Is that pre-Neil Peart? I can't tell by looking at him. LOL I know he was not around for the first record. John Rutsey was the first drummer....but maybe that's a real young Peart?
