Model Release template?

Where can I find a good model release?

I made one myself for now, but if I ever get taken to court ... I don't hink it will stick. :-) Any good templates I can use?

I'm creating VR content, selling through tube sites and looking into creating my own website.

itīs crazy, our own model release would hold up in court and itīs great on tubes and every where, but then Onlyfans want their own names written in the release!!!!

itīs crazy!

make sure you have the model name, address, dob, ID used and ID number, it states that all content take on thus day is the property of "then your name" and can be used and sold with all authority of " again your name"...

this is obviously in short, but make sure that it literally states that everything, films and photo content is all yours and can be sold and used however you like....

get this signed and get an ID with a photo of the model holding both the id and the written contract, it will hold up in court.

wishing you good business :thumbsup

Thanks! That's basically what I do now. I have the model's ID, pluse facepic + ID, all of her personal info, address, phone, mail, ... But the content of the release is like 3 paragraphs long ... just stating that she is aware that I will be selling the content on adult media, that she is entitled to ask me to remove the content, but with a clause that I am not responsible for third parties that download / pirate the content.

And indeed, I also have one site that asks me to put their name in the contract. That does not seem very convenient.

But still, this is all written in really simple terms ... I created in like 5 minutes, just "to have something".

I offer you a link to a post I made in 2016 that contains a link to the 2257 compliant model release that I was using.

It's just a basic template - You hard code your own info into it. All my content that's currently on many different platforms is backed up by this release. I have never had a problem with it.

Anyway, I am not a lawyer in 2022, but the foundations beneath my release are rock solid :)

not understanding, why are you giving the said model entitlement to remove content?

From what I am GUESSING, is that the guy basically 'made up' his original model release himself, with the stuff he thought it was supposed to say, but now he is a bit further into the game so to speak, from here on in, he wants a proper, legally worded model release.

I understand it's not standard practice, but I'm currently working with OnlyFans models and splitting the revenue. So I'm not booking them directly and payment depends on the revenue, with them sharing my "risk", but also keeping control over their content (with the caveat of piracy).

The content usually makes 80% of its total revenue in the first 2 weeks, after that, the revenue drops drastically, so I don't really care if they want the video to be taken offline after a month.

It's a give and take. :-)

Yes sir, you are correct. :-) At first, I was doing this just sporadically, making some extra money. But in the last month or two, things have begun to move fast and it's starting to be a real business for me. So I want to cover all bases now. :-)
