Jane's Guide has a PR of 7 which is quire rare for adult and over 1500 links from big sources like Salon.com. Add all those up and it starts to make Jane's Guide quite a nice little place to get a link from. It wouldn't surprise me if Nina's site gets a nice little PR boost as well, congrats Nina!
