|
I bought the Starbucks coffeemaker figuring we'd go there less...but nope...that's not the case.
I guess we'll just have to buy the Starbucks espresso machine now. |
I'm addicted to those DoubleShots, and my gf is addicted to Frappachino. Goddamn you Starbucks, damn you all to hell!:helpme
|
Wht would the BW-bill be if you get 150k hits a day to your coffeshop
|
hi... my name is Q'on & i.... i'm.... I'M AN ESPRESSO ADDICT.
*group answers.....* .. |
i stopped drinking coffee, yet i still go to the local starbucks once a week to flirt with two of the girls that work there.
|
The Ice Mocha is good :thumbsup
|
I get the venti Traditional in the morning, or a Choclate Brownie Frappachino in the afternoon.
Choclate brownie frap kicks major ass!!! |
i can't remember where, but did you know that a completely seperate franchise started a starbucks inside the men's restroom in a starbucks? LAME.
|
They ream you big time on the foo-foo drinks (frap, mocha, etc.).
I usually get a tall coffee or Americano - $1.25 to $1.65. Sugar, chocolate and vanilla are free at the counter. |

Starbucks' coffee is low quality crap but of course 99% of people don't know that ;)
... and there hardly are any alternatives out there which kinda sucks. |

There must be some master scheme to make tons of money......I bought one of those Starbuck's coffee makers, the coffee, the whole nine yards and the coffee just doesn't taste the same when I make it at home so then I end up taking the trip to Starbuck's anyway and spending a small fortune on a vente mocha and one of those small chocolate bundt cakes.......they are like Heaven with icing on them :Hollering
|
I spend about 20 hours/week at starbucks. I'm not just addicted to the coffee.. I don't even drink coffee anywhere else.. I'm addicted to starbucks..

When I do coffee.. it's a venti latte with irish cream and whipped cream. When not, it's a Tazo citrus...Tangerine and Orange juice, lime and Tazo Green tea with ice.
|
I love their Chai tea.* There is a starbucks right near the office, so I am covered there.* When I am at home though, I pickup their Chai concentrate and make that. Much easier than the 10 minute drive to Barnes and Noble.
|
I'm trying to quit coffee & this is my first day. What a headache!
|
I have cut down to about three pots of coffee a day. When I worked for a law firm I used to drink 3 depth charges a day ... a double shot in a grande coffee. As a matter of fact, my first home espresso machine was a gift from a client - but considering that they manufactured them, I thought they could have parted with a nice one considering the money I saved their happy asses.
Hmmm ... gotta run into town later. Need to get me a fix. |
triple grande mocha
|
starbucks is doing well despite the bad economy
i heard they opened a new starbucks inside another starbucks in NYC |

Since then, I've quit a few other times by tapering off. That was much easier. Each time I'm caffeine-free for about 6 months before slowly getting back on the wagon. |
I like it...
|
Ever since they've installed Wi-Fi access at Starbucks, it ain't that bad, considering that I don't have high-speed (or even 56K modem) net access at home. This allows me to at least get some "work" done. However, I'm not going to attempt to demonstrate any more laptop levitation tricks there while viewing adult websites .:)
|
Starbucks is awesome! Especially the new mocha malts. I know it's pricey, but for hot drinks they'll even write your name on the cup. Now that's service.
|
starbucks is so commercial. i like the smaller mom & pop joints. i need a white choco latte. now.
|
Had a iced carmel latte this morining!:thumbsup
|
I was in there today and I was wondering if its mandatory to staff them with the punk / alternative looking guy and the overweight sad, depressed girls.
Maybe not, maybe is...just my :2 cents: |
I enjoy their teas... not a big coffee drinker.

There's an easy solution to this:
Don't go to Starbucks! There's plenty of smaller coffee shops around that brew MUCH better coffee for half the price. And yes, they have all the same shit Starbucks does...they just don't have those fruity names :thumbsup |

Dont get your coffee at starbucks... they use greener beens wich have more acid in them.. thats why it fucks with your stomach. |
Starbucks is the one thing I miss about Seattle.
3 coffee shops every block. Starbucks, Tullys Coffee and Seattles Best. If one place was busy you just walk across the street. You actually have to go out of your way in Atlanta to find a good coffee shop. |

I'm actually trying to go the day without a coffee myself. Think I might at least stop by for a frap. tonight :-)

We bought the Starbucks Barista Machine. We use it 3 -4 times a day. We still go to Starbucks. Carmal Machhiatos, double shots, Vanilla Frappe shake thing, Cubanos.
Cafe Cubanos and you'll never sleep again. Which teeth whiteners do you prefer? |

Nevermind the coffee starbucks is WI-FI )( enabled...walk in with your handheld or laptop and a wireless access card and your online
Now that's cool :thumbsup |
I've also had some stomach problems lately from drinking WAY too much coffee..
I'm on my 8th day without coffee....pretty rough. Of course if I had my choice between Starbucks or no coffee at all I'd start drinking herbal tea. |
POV,
For some great coffee try Peets out of Berkeley. www.peets.com. Or, for something different, try Duke Coffee. It is all organic and roasted at over 10,000 feet in Colorado. The high altitude gives it a slow roast that is deep in flavor. www.dukecoffee.com. Enjoy. |

We get a blend in the grocery store "Ronoco" I believe called
Foglifter. It's black as the night it's self. It's like a mega dose of caffiene much like the Morning Thunder tea. Foglifter is awesome. The grind doesn't work well in the espresso machine but it's good in a drip. The best drip we've had is WhiteCastle coffee. Yummy. My grandpa would say "that'll put hair on your chest". |
and you can use wifi in your local startbucks and keep right on working too.
|
Seems like alot of people are "addicted" to Starbucks. Maybe we should organize a class action on them like people did with the cig companies. Then we can use our "money for damages" to buy more coffee !!! Think there any "mystery" additives in that Starbucks coffee. Everyone knows caffeine is addicting.....easy to hide a little something "extra" in there to keep you coming back.
Sorry saw Matrix this weekend , on my conspiracy kick, sorry. BTW..........I love Starbucks !!!!! Usually......Venti Drip or Mocha.......After a long night, a Quad Venti Mocha !! |
