I've not been in this market for YEARS.

How's the current health / state of the Adult affiliate biz?

Alive but different.

In what ways?

Well, first , there is no more zillion of affiliates, no more "make a blog post a day to reach sale a day" method. Conversions dropped considerably , SE traffic is much harder to get due google strict rules, and now affiliates are not even needed so much as before, as models can generate traffic by herself. Now service like onlyfans probably make more money then any other type, except maybe cams niche which also still making considerable money.

There is no longer a simple roadmap for beginners to get overcompensated by doing basic tasks and receiving free traffic.

Exactly this. I still have a small network of blogs and it makes me enough money to cover my car payment.

Dead relatively speaking. Not really enough money for affiliates to make a great living anymore unless you are one of the giant tube sites.

like i said many years ago the affiliate side is going to die.because many programs dumped checks and paxum(the last usa hope of peer payments dumped the usa) we are almost done with affiliates. then it will be producers and models like when people like philcash started. that dood is solid! without affiliates!

You can no longer launch 10 blogs on some free service, set them to auto update from sponsor feed and rank for 100 long tail KWs in a month by interlinking them all, then start getting 3-4 sales per day.

For those of us who know what they're doing, it's still pretty easy to make money in adult as an affiliate. For those who are under the illusion that what I described above is any more of a skill than flipping burgers at a fast food joint, it's hard and they'll say as such in this thread. :winkwink:

A lot of changes happened. You need hard work and time in order to grow a profitable business.

The affiliate biz is alive but has morphed into another beast that requires hard work and constant care - networking still is key but not in the form of going to trade shows and getting them drunk or laid. There are restrictions and targets on everyone's back but if smart you can help and guide someone along to make money. Throw out the old handbook and begin a new one.

Adult dating is still alive and well in the age of AI-powered Tinder bots :)

Still doing the blog post a day method, still not working hard, still getting fucked hard by google & affiliate programs. but Still 15K in a bad month.

It's alive, not beginner friendly but there is still money for those who know how to run networks and tubes. Cams still making bank too but same thing there, cant just throw a WL up and throw some links at it.

Everybody always says that same cliche about not being able to throw shit up and make money.

But still...not ONE of you have the kind of traffic anymore to make real money like we used to. I know I sure don't. And not ONE of our thousands of affiliates for Claudia-Marie.Com does either anymore.

I know what I'm doing. But I can't force people to leave the big tube sites and come to my sites. And neither can any of you.

I make money...but it's 1/10th of what I used to make as an affiliate.
I simply don't have a million uniques of traffic on my sites anymore. They are all at the big tubes now.

Cams are still working well...It's not as easy as before (especially for beginners) but doing alright!

I thought we all did it so as we could get to look at the free content available from the sponsors we signed up with...

I was surprised how many adult webmasters seem to literally get into this industry for ego reasons, send alot of emails and never focus on revenue. Now I'm no longer suprised

Worrying about any industry's affiliate segment being dead or alive is very much like asking if PUNK IS DEAD?
