Somehow I find it very disrespectful to sit on someone's grave and make "funny" pictures. Could just be me though...

I'm not a moralist, but I don't think that's very appropriate. When I die, I hope people don't take pictures of each other smiling and flipping the bird while sitting on my grave.

....the man was a great musician...but you seem to forget he was a herion junky that didn't have enough repsect for himself to stay alive...

I actually think that Jim Morrison would have probably liked the thought that people sit around his grave getting fucked up and writing poetry on there.

Most of the stuff written on the grave is about him and peace...shit like that....

It is like the wall outside Abbey Road studios people go down there and write Beatles messages all over it.

If I was Jim Morrison and people were getting stoned talking about moi by my grave and leaving me messages I think I would enjoy it.

He didnt die a rich man at all. It used to be a little flat plaque in the ground ..they just recently moved it and built the gazebo and his parents and grand parents are buried around the gazebo.

Jimmy was a great guitar player, one of the best ever.

Wierd thing, my dad went to high school with Hendrix and Bruce Lee, No BS there. Garfield HS, Seattle Wash.

Dad told me that Jimmy wasn't so great of a player in HS, and Bruce Lee was quite shy. I guess Bruce Lee was in his Ham Radio Club at school.
