How the fuck does a JFK tribute thread have only 65 responses after two days? This would have been 10 pages by now in the day.

Maybe its a sign of the times about who is actually using the board, perhaps they simply do not know or understand how much time and effort Julius put in to each of the shows he attended.

If the board is full of newbies, the likelihood is, they never had the opportunity to meet him and as sad as that is, if they never met the guy, the likely don't actually care :(

That is the only logical explanation; a bunch of newbies and Russians that are only here for the strife.

that's a strange way to look at it. did you see how many industry veterans and lurkers posted? i think that's huge. are all those people lurking daily?

the industry has hundreds of thousands of people in it. there's just not that many people interested in gfy. how many "im new here" OPs come back?

Everyone is posting about JFK's passing on Facebook.

I think there are some issues to login into gfy since friday at least I only was able to login today. Before it gave me the refresh login page again.

It's also the weekend. Many people do not check GFY or their computers until they get to work on Mondays.

This. Have you ever tried contacting anyone in this industry on the weekend? Things turn into a ghost town til Monday or Tuesday.

In fact... Someone just made a tribute video to JFK and put it on Facebook.... I think it was Andy.

I saw this as well, tons of guys who never post here anymore making an appearance in that thread.

That's actually impressive when you consider how many monthly unique active posters still reside here. I was shocked to see so many old timers come out of the woodwork and post a tribute. Many of them hadn't posted here in years.
