Facebook whistleblower will be on 60 minutes this Sunday

The former employee says the documents prove the company knows its algorithms amplify polarizing and hateful content, adding that societies around the world are being torn apart, partly because of the social media company. Profit outweighs safety on Facebook, according to the former employee.

The 60 minutes broadcast will still be a load of bull and nothing substantial will result because
of this whistler blower. Big Tech, the media and politicians all lie and cover for each other.

At the end of the day, it's just more publicity for FB.
Users will just post about it on FB and continue posting..

You're right, facebook is only going to benefit from this.

I've got to ask myself if this whistleblower 60 Minutes news piece is just some kind of
marketing. The fact is that I find myself believing that it probably is.

Without knowing anything about this at all.... My guess is that Facebook's algorithms shows you more of what you are interested in. Facebook tries to show you what it thinks you like. We recently bought a condo in San Francisco and I've been exploring San Francisco on Facebook a lot... Now every day Facebook is trying to show me other groups and pages about San Francisco.

If you are into a hate groups it will show you more hate groups.

Did you know that danes use the same word for “marriage” and for “poison” ??
