im a new dad
 

just got back from the hospital, we just had a girl, 6 pounds 3 ounces. woooooooo no sleep for 6 months

Congratulations to you and the Mum, hope she is doing well.

Try to get as much sleep as possible over the next couple of day, cos when the baby comes home it's being fed every three hours. Then she will wake up in the middle of the night for a drink, then you lay awake worrying about her grades, then worrying about what she is doing at night.

Why do we bother?

Because when she walk up to you at 15 months and says "Dada" and put her arms up for a hug it all becomes worthwhile. :)

When I was born, my weight was almost 5 kilograms. Exactly - 4.9Kg... Rather big, isn't it ??? :)... Anyway, congratulations, daddy !!! ;)
