It's a 7 game series and anything can happen. Just like everyone thought the Kings would walk through the Mavericks in this one. Sure the Spurs would be favored but like I said anything is possible and we can keep it in Texas!

About USA team, I admit it wasn't the best team, yet it was very good, and they ended 6th. Why? Because it wasn't a team, just a mix of stars. That's mainly why they lost, same reason why Lakers lost against Spurs. Let's do a comparation: Argentina was the first team in beating an all NBA team ever. The best argentinian player for most people (I don't agree) is Manu Ginobili, who is just a reserve at Spurs. Just name only one of USA national team who is a reserve at his team. Keep thinking for years, you won't find him!
Even more: the last Panamerican Games, USA presented a team of NBA rookies and college player assuming that would be enough: they ended with the worse loss ever for an USA basketball team (more than 60 points down against Argentina) and the last place in championship. Now they learnt the lesson, and I'm sure they will win the Olympics, Duncan, Shaq, Kobe, jason Kidd is just too much, but in the near future, I doubt USA team will reign over all other teams. It simply won't happen :)

Crying about injuries is pretty fucking sorry. They can happen to anyone anytime and on any team so it doesn't really matter you have to suck it up and play. You take it the way it happens, it's not as if the Mavericks planned Webber's injury. So you should stop crying and suck it up and take it like a man. I'm not so sure the best team wins a lot of the time so that's nothing to complain about. If you want to be sad that your Lakers didn't win then you should take a look at your boy Kobe who got bitchslapped by 3 different Spurs players. Don't get me wrong I hate the Spurs and the only other team I wanted to win other than the Mavericks is the Lakers, I just don't like Kobe Bryant but I am a fan of Shaq. Injuries always happen, during the regular season to prevent you from making the playoffs or getting a higher spot and during the playoffs, it's never anything to complain about because it happens no matter what to all teams.

What was the big injury on the Lakers that I missed. Rick Fox please don't tell me that was a huge injury. Shaq, I don't think so, there's a rule with athletes if you play then you got no excuses. So how did we all know it was those 3 teams, do you really think the Mavericks were that much worse than those guys, this is a competitive league and anything can happen.

I will tell you what.. First, yes..Fox has been a CRITICAL part of the lakers success, and recent title.. I mean KEY, in every playoff, period, he ws key... Devon was critical off the bench, all year and injured not the same.We all know Koby's shoulder in the playoffs, and Shaq's injuries this year, but at least they were in the game so no excuses there.

Kings, less Webber, done deal. It was a playoff ender.
