Anyone have patents on inevtions or new inventions your working on?

I have 3 inventions so far getting ready to patent them. Fuck this internet bullshit inventions will get you paid. Look how many inventions come out that sell huge. Like that pasta pot witht the strainer in the lid. I have an invention that is used in every automoblie that is used almost every time you get in the car. I could patent it and sell the idea to the auto manufacturers. You see this inventions out in walmart ,kmart all over and they aren't really complicated inventions either. Most of these inventions are simple things and the inventors are making millions.

If they did do you think they would list them here?

I'm days away from a patent on clicking a mouse (sending an electronic impule via a device to another device to execute an action on some other device) and breathing (inhaling 02 mixed with other gases for the purpose of living). Once I get these patents I will sell them to Acacia so they can collect. :1orglaugh

just make sure you are really the first and get a lawyer before you go to the patent office, and even then it will take at least 6 years before it is issuded to you, for the simple reason they hbave to check it globally that it doesnt exists or something close to it, but on the other hand, good luck :thumbsup

i dated a girl who invented flower pots made of biodegradable material and cow shit - not sure what ever happened with it though. sounded like a good plan, you could just plant the entire pot and it would fertilize itself.

Are these guys making money now? "Venture" featured them a couple years back and they had a very rough start. It was two guys from Winnipeg.

For all you non canadaians, "Venture" is a tv show in Canada that follows entrpreneurs around for a few months. They usually pick failing businesses or guys just starting out to feature cuz it's more interesting to see someone fight to get their business to succeed.

If I remember right these guys had a lot of trouble getting the pots made (standard manufacturing bullshit), they'd made a huge order and they had a bunch of investors pull out at the last minute (typical).

I could be wrong but I think the show ended with them finding an Angel investor willing to cover what they needed to get started, but he wanted a HUGE cut of the entire business. They didn't want to do the deal and the show ended before they made up their minds.

The question still remains: Are the inventors making any money... or did they take the deal?

I love "Venture" it always shows some idiot thinking he's going to make an easy fortune with an invention or an idea and finding out it's a lot harder to make a buck than he ever imagined.

I used to run the sales and marketing department for a product development company. I worked predominatley with companies such as: Bombardier, Sunbeam, etc...companies that already owned their patents, however, what I do know is this....Go to a patent lawyer, make sure you and/or they research what is already patented out there, such that you won't have any legal issues out there. Once, you apply for th patent, you may affix "patent pending" to your marketing, etc....collateral. Also, kind of a silly thing, but take what you have written up and send a copy of it to yourself, don't open it up.....

There are a lot of products that you can sell that are not being exploited properly that you can make a lot of money on....working with people who own the rights to a product but have no way of marketing. Usually the people who develop these products have no practical ability to market.....Could be a cool thing to look at!

If I may be of assistance in any way let me know....haven't had my head in that direction in a while but if I may make something easier or less expensive.....hey, why not!

-Best Of Luck

Having done this patent stuff myself and finding investor's you have no idea how much bullshit is really involed. Real patents can cost upwards of 100k so if you dont have that sort of cash dont start. Why do you think 99% of patents lapse after the first 12 months. Most socalled inventors are lucky if they end up with 5% of the profit if there is any.
