Microsoft shares are at an all time high, I am afraid they don't care if someone on GFY dislikes Windows. ;)
But I think it looks nice. |

I thought Microsoft was done making new operating systems, and was just going to keep updating Windows 10.

What you need to know
Windows 11 was formally announced by Microsoft. As part of the news rush, it was revealed that new Windows 11 laptops will be required to have a front webcam starting in 2023. Forward-facing cameras will be mandatory, while rear-facing will be optional. |

I thought it was a joke. Somehow it's actually true.
A sample of DNA will be required by Windows 13. |
Windows 3.1
The first OS I ever used. Was it ever a pain to get set up on the information superhighway. |
I going to wait for about a year and see if the hype is still true. Yet, I do remember Microsoft saying windows 10 was the last and only updates will be new.
|
I miss the DOS days and running everything from the command line.

Windows is nice and all but I'm so thankful my Abacus doesn't require 2fa every 30 minutes.

Windows 11 ?? Didn't Microsoft state a long time ago that Windows 10 would be the last release? Not really more money for Microsoft but more money for the companies that make computer parts if it requires more RAM CPU etc...
Switching from XP to 7 and then 7 to 10 ... had to build new rigs |
11 windows and i still ain't seeing shit....

Bill Gates is getting divorced, he needs the $$$.
|
For sure it has a lot of compatibility problems initially, I will wait for a few months before i try it.
|
I plan to switch over as soon as win11 gets released (officially).
we just need to embrace new tech :) .. and I'm curious in testing running Android apps on Windows natively. .. this could result in a revolution in app development > I believe very soon we will see more and more cool apps that don't have websites. enjoy the Friday all! H |
