It’s protected speech, and if challenged, it will become legal at the state level, in that state, because precedent has already been set in 2 states.

I hope they move this to the other section so I can get my roast on properly.

Until then, y'all seem to be getting what y'all asking for in your little red havens... Little by little.

Congrats... as usual.

Not really kang, but any attack on free speech erodes it’s foundation. Even the leftist soy censorship.

For a long time it had only been court tested in California. It has since been court tested in New Hampshire.

And if court tested in the other 48, it will stand constitutional as well

Essentially it is tolerated in the rest of the 48 for fear of a constitutional challenge.

They didn’t ban porn production, they banned offering people money for having sex with someone while it doesn’t matter for what purpose, which is a very broad (and stupid) anti-prostitution law - it probably won’t stand since "sexual conduct" is often present in mainstream (erotic) movies as well.

This just proves what I mentioned some time ago - that they won’t directly target free speech as they can’t win that most likely, instead, they will focus on the talent recruitment.

It reminds me the prostitution laws in Sweden - they don’t ban prostitution, instead they only punish the customers.
