Today is bad. She has major pain and my hands are beyond exhausted from lower back massages. What is some good advice here and something thoughtful that I could do.

A high quality beer, which contains quality "hops" tends to give some minor relief. I was told that hops is a cousin of marijuana. Tends to help with head(aches).

Learn basic reflexology. There are pressure points in the places like the sole of the feet, that when pressed and massaged, affect in a positive way other parts of the body.

Acupuncture, and specifically Bee Venom Acupuncture, where bees are isolated to various parts of your body, and allowed to sting you, is known to greatly help with pain, especially the lower back region.

Good luck!

It's not going to help now but have her discuss contraception with her doctor. A number of birth control regimens will effectively stop her from bleeding and having cramps. If she keeps up the regimen through menopause she can actually avoid it all together. A doctor will be able to determine the onset of menopause. (If I assumed her age incorrectly I apologize in advance).

"There are birth control pill regimens designed to prevent bleeding for three months at a time or for as long as a year. But it's possible to prevent your period with continuous use of any birth control pill. This means skipping the placebo pills and starting right away on a new pack."

My wife does this and she doesn't have to deal with her period at all.

We’re trying for a rug rat, so contraception is out of the question, unfortunately. She’s 31. Maybe Mercury is in retrograde or something :(

I think I’m in for an evening of foot massages

Yeah, I wish I had something more for you. The other thing I can think of is a heating pad placed where she has the most discomfort but other than that just be attentive to her needs.

I just reread your post, only now realizing that you stated "period" as in menstrual pain. The advice was for the lower back pain I assumed you were focused on. I'm getting old.

EddyTheDog 06-07-2021 08:12 PM

Chocolates - Really expensive ones - Always appreciated and they release natural endorphins that help with pain and mood...

I read your thread, then saw a Facebook ad for this product. Big brother is indeed watching.

Hell ya. I was talking beer with sly and dynamo and I got an email for a drinking problem.
I was like wtf

MakeMeGrrrrowl 06-07-2021 11:03 PM

I take midol when they are bad, that's all that works.

I also use the heating pad and hot tub.

BaldBastard 06-07-2021 11:06 PM

I'd leave the house and come back later when she's hopefully feeling better.

pornlaw 06-07-2021 11:07 PM

Red Italian wine... lots of it...

Thanks! It’s weird because these were particularly bad pains. Way worse than usual. :(

Motrin is the best for cramps and periods, or so the ladies tell me!

An ex-girlfriend of mine got rid of all of her pms symptoms, both mental and physical, after 1 month of a nose-to-tail animal-based diet.

dillonaire 06-08-2021 10:35 AM

THC Suppository will help a lot.

baddog 06-08-2021 11:01 AM

Do you have access to high CBD weed? Coconut oil and a crock pot? You can make an extremely effective balm.

Won't help for today but will be for the next time.

Hops are a cousin of weed but there are almost as many strains of hops as there of weed; and like weed, they all have different effects.

Some surprisingly great answers in this thread.

Drinking coffee during her period or increasing coffee consumption during it and minimizing coffee consumption the rest of the time can help a lot.

I'm also a fan of sea salt baths.

One helpful fix is an orgasm from a high powered wand, even if she is feeling anything but in the mood. Not really having mutual sex, just an easy orgasm to release muscle clenching.

Wow really? I never knew that! I haven’t had liver since I was a child. Maybe it’s time to try it again. Thanks!

She has that thing plugged in all day to surge protecter and battery back up lol. I just hope it’s not a kidney stone. A few months ago and was sidelined for 2 weeks. Today the pain started to abate but now my hands are toast from rubbing all day. I think the worst is over, hopefully

Colmike9 06-09-2021 08:06 AM

Get her pregnant, then no periods for months :upsidedow

Grind up weed.

1 cup weed to one cup coconut oil

Leave in crock pot minimum 24 hours.

Helix 06-09-2021 08:57 AM

I make a coconut oil salve from the big fan leaves of the cannabis plant (not the frosty leaves or buds). The leaves have therapeutic oils including CBD (as much as 7% CBD in those leaves). If you know a grower ask for the fan leaves, they usually toss them out.
I make a big batch with 3oz dried leaves and 50oz coconut oil in a slow cooker steeping all day stirring once an hour. Strain and you are good.

Randomonium 06-09-2021 09:45 AM

An easy way to try Cannabis extracted ingredients (including CBD) and other synergistic ingredients (essential oils & more) is to order a free sample of Muscle Miracle for both her back & your hands.

You're welcome, sir!
As a kid I also loved liver, more so than regular muscle meat.
So I started eating it regularly again last year, about 3-4 times a week.

Do you get hormone free liver etc?
