Shit, my site was down for 3 hours this morning, then it went back up for a few hours. Now it's been down for the past 4 hours.

i saw this thread and called wayne from TechieMedia
since our servers have been rock solid since day one to see what was up. He said that the only thing that happened was one of the servers that houses the $14.95 accounts was having problems... they just got done moving data to a new server and he said billing will credit everyone on that server for a full month, no need to ask. Hope that helps

Yeah I guess my friend that I referred over there was down all yesterday and last night - nobody answered phones or emails.
I'm sort of bummed I referred them now.
I was under the impression from reading previous messages on GFY that Techiemedia was a great host...
Maybe these problems do have something to with JFPdude not being there anymore?

I get a email form Verio every time they have a problem, yesterday one of my domains was down, I called tech support, the guy ask if I would mind holding for awhile, before he came back I got an email, checked and the site was loading. Yeah I'm just a 3rd party in this so I'm not sure what the problem was. But it was a box of virtual hosts, so that explains why some people were up last night and others were down.
Anyway whatever. From now on when someone asks for a virtual hosting recomendation I'll just say what I always say -- No idea. I don't use virtual hosting.Comment
