Buying BTC on the dip

Who's buying BTC on the latest price dip?

Tasty1 03-26-2021 09:22 PM

Is it back to 42.000 already?

baddog 03-26-2021 10:54 PM

What's a dip these days?

With the 500 BTC you have, the dip must hurt :disgust

In regards to the question of the thread - I don't buy BTC anymore, I just accept all of my payouts in BTC, and don't really care if it goes up or down. Goes up - ok, might cash out some or spend more or move into something else. Goes down - cool, hopefully it stays down so upcoming payments will be a higher amount of BTC coming in.

ruff 03-27-2021 12:30 PM

I can see already it's going to be lonely when I'm on top of the world.

I bought $500 of btc, not 500 of them.

When I could afford to do that I had zero faith in it.

The resistance must be around 45.000. But crazy prices. Still can go to the 45K USD.
Nobody knows. Nice to see the Bitcoin madness again.
I will buy some at 45K. USD

Why? are you aware of the US printed over 30% of entire USD money supply in the last year?
not buying gold, silver, bitcoin, stocks, etc is going to haunt you in the future :Oh crap

Buying stuff is so 2000 late - ew pretty lame.

Hinc 03-28-2021 11:54 PM

Buying dips is always good but mostly I just accept payments for everything in crypto (most people prefer to actually pay in Tron or some other crypto with lower transfer fees)

I saw one of the youtube bitcoiners predict 250k usd at the end of the year ... I laughed at that when we´d been at 10k for a while and they predicted 50k, now I just watch with amazement :)

ruff 03-29-2021 01:12 PM

Some other pundit is predicting $400,000 by the end of 2021. That might be a stretch though.

CAHEK 03-29-2021 03:31 PM

I heard you can now buy Tesla with BTC. Guess what...i'm buying Volkswagen :)

ruff 03-29-2021 05:32 PM

Buy some Bitcoin today and wait a year, you can get that Tesla for a buck. Or the VW for 30 grand.

You can of course use Binance, Coinbase or another exchange...or localbitcoins if you want a transaction you can carry out locally

PornDiscounts-V 04-02-2021 09:00 AM

Bitcoin is so 2017.

Buy up and coming coins for 1700% to 3000% gains in one year.

Who's buying?

Hinc 04-18-2021 01:28 AM

Today is a wonderful time to buy some dips :)

adultchatpay 04-18-2021 01:34 AM

dipping huge today,.. go grab some btc~!

jscott 04-18-2021 01:43 AM

I know people who've been "waiting for the dip" from $50 to $10 who still haven't bought lol

This is a discount more than a dip.

$NLG went up. The Dutch Guilder Coin.
they can buy that, still far away from the all time high.

They are making bad choices on the "waiting for Bitcoin dip" but i'm not saying they're completely retarded :1orglaugh

NLG: "Gulden is the Dutch Bitcoin"

The whole point of Bitcoin is decentralized, immutable, and BORDERLESS.

If you're willing to bet, in public, on NLG vs. BTC growth on a 5 year span let me know :)

Most alts are for the small trips and pumps. The NLG is almost at lowest point ever, so i thought let's see. Also cause they will make NFT's, Defi, and make the supply less. If there is a hype, they will be interviewed. And when project is done, will be publicity.

CAHEK 04-18-2021 06:24 AM

U.S. Treasury may crack down on money laundering that’s carried out through digital assets. It’s about time. Going to be huge selling on Monday.

please explain how btc is really "decentralized" if most of the mining is located in the hands of few groups, mostly Chinese ones.

Similar thing with owners - around 10,000 "owners" own most of it.
So how is that decentralized?

Chinese groups go down (power cut for example), btc has problems...

Banks launder fiat currency all the time without effecting the fiat. The "US treasury to charge banks of laundering" rumor is a tool for traders, that's all.

For every miner taken offline gives extra incentive to those that stay online. Bitcoin mining in China could cease to exist today and all miners in other countries would have extra incentive.

There is also the mining difficulty adjustment that updates every 2 weeks to ensure BTC blocks are mined every (approx) 10 minutes

As for truly decentralized, check the nodes of BTC compared to any other proof of work project. The system is BUILT to be decentralized, it's up for us, the world, mine/buy/hold/sell for ownership to be spread out. This takes time.

Look at Doge - 1 wallet address owns 25% of entire supply
Look at Ripple/XRP - premined to own 70% of all supply of XRP
Look at BCH/BSV - aiming for less nodes = more centralization
etc etc

99.9% of altcoins are money grabs, scams, or centralized, my advice don't buy into that shit :2 cents:

I agree with that lol.

However BTC is nothing more than a instrument of increasing wealth...in fiat/ other material assets

it doesn't serve as money (too expensive, slow, volatile).

decentralized block chain idea is a good one though.

heck, Monero has real life use (when you want to buy sth "deep online"), but btc? come on...

That's one of the main intentions of Bitcoin, protect your value against the central banks inflation scam

In the future it will. BTC 2nd layer on Lightning & Liquid allows for free & instant payments. It works right now but not ready for full mass adoption yet. Volatile upward is nice :pimp

Yes, we want the Guilder back and dump the Euro and later the BTC ;)
But i bought cause i thought can't go much lower (can always go to 0) and they are busy.
They now will cut the supply and start with defi, ntf etcetra.
I supported the guilder with 1000 euro and now 2500 euro in 10 days.
This is the Dutch doge. Better result than the lottery so far.
Available on Bittrex.

China is the world’s biggest coal user.Cheap electricity. 75 percent of Bitcoin mining happens in China, no wonder why.

Chinas also the biggest solar power generator.
Biggest Gas power generator.
Biggest Wind power generator.
Biggest Hydro power generator.

Its the cool thing about big populations you can find an argument for anything.

---

Property prices are exploding here in Sydney and that's where my money is, we're not even bothering renting out rentals any more, buy-hold.. flip.

https://theurbandeveloper.com/articl...-market-update

Price has been going up 10-20% per year, and when you can borrow at 2-5% its just a no brainer.

good luck!
anyway, potential of losses is unlimited. its math.

so I would be careful with such thinking.
from 100 to 2 its 98 % loss.
But buying for 2 doesnt mean its cheap, as it may go down to 1, another 50 % down.

and later you add zero at the beginning at the fun starts again...
