Weight Trainers/Bodybuilders/Fitness Addicts...

Are you going stir crazy not being able to train in a proper gym environment?

I know I fucking am and it doesn't help that I have been a complete pig for the past year eating so much shit. We have another month here (UK) before the gyms reopen and I am so looking forward to lifting heavy again.

never been into gyms, I like sweating in the privacy of my own home

healing from a broken ankle and a fractured hand I have been fucking dying to work out, haven't gained any weight but feel flabby as fuck

you don't need a gym, just youtube some Insanity and install a bar for pull-ups and you're good to go. 5 liter water bottles work as well as free weights

don't even have to put on mascara =p

You can perform some decent work outs at home definitely but in my case - unless you have a decent selection of heavy weights and equipment, press-ups, pull-ups, free standing squats and the like becomes tiresome and ineffective after a while. :)

I used to hate hitting the gym, then I loved it for a while. Now I workout at home. For me, the game changer was when I realized that discipline will always win over motivation.

I love going to the gym, working out.

I got infected there, but once I recovered I started working out again. Its my lifestyle..

Here, gyms are still open and working just fine.

I'm always in the gym, sweating loads, pressing huge weights, with crowds of people looking on impressed...

Then I wake up... :(

I stepped into a gym for the first time in my life about 14 months ago. Was just getting into it, then.....pandemic.

So I'll be starting from scratch again more or less, next month.

so improvise...

lift your couch in squat lifts, coffee table if laden with enough books, push ups with weight on your back even if not curious cats. 1960's vids of white women to the contrary it was possible to be lean and toned even without gyms back in the day

best ab workout ever is p90x ab ripper found here: https://vimeo.com/410205129

abs on point as with legs/butt but god I cannot wait til I can get back on my pilates machine

prob another week til my spaghetti arms return to normal, in the mean time will live vicariously through all y'all

now go lift a couch =p

Been training at home since covid but luckily I have a barbell with some weights so it hasn't been too bad. Mostly form and technique training with 7-10 rep sets.
