the DEFI hype is based on ETH and pushing its value , however sometimes when browsing thru all those DEFI sites it reminds me a bit of the days of e-gold. every day another new token, chain exchange etc pops up .

ETH faces the same problems like bitcoin or any other Coin with decent success..transactions costs totally blown up. if you transfer 1000 $ worth in ETH its more expensive then paxum :1orglaugh

@movieguy & @jamezon I don't think these big number ETH prediction guys even know how to calculate the max supply of ETH.

Not sure how they make their predictions without knowing simple fundamentals like that. Sounds like they shooting in the dark. I agree, no respect for fiat, but would love to know how these guys come up with $2k or $10k predictions (and more importantly what time frame?)

Also, ETH ATH against BTC was 0.15, its far off since now only 0.04

I bought 2 ether for 500 last year. Sold at like 300.

But I am back at it and bought 1 ether at about 1300. Plan on holding this time. At least until ethereum 2.0 comes out. Hopefully, it goes well.
