Instagram Experts about Trademarks - where you at?
 

Friend's IG Profile of a local business has been disabled without warning due to "BRAND PROTECTION" "Trademark"
The page was reported by a third party because username of profile goes against their trademark rights.

Does anyone have experience with this
How does one restore the page?

Your friend could try to appeal if his/her use of the trademark term is for a different class of goods than that of the complainant. Is the disputed trademark term a famous trademark? Is it a distinctive trademark? What country does he/she reside and where is the complainant based?

If IG denies the appeal, then your friend is SOL. Bottom line, their site, their rules.

How about "your friend" just dont violate trademark rights? That might work as well
