And in my most humble opinion, it really sucked. I was all worked up about seeing it, everybody seems to love it. Can somebody here explain what makes the movie so good? I can't really understand how it can be #88 on IMDB.

The only people I can see enjoying it are psychopaths who watch it and say "hey that's exactly how I feel"...but are there really that many of those, because the IMDB rating really disturbs me

I haven't seen it but the only people I've heard raving about it are weird types who like twisted shit.. So yeah I think you're right there.

I thougt Donnie Darko was a great film, amazing sound track worked on a few levels, one of the movies that I liked watching again.

What are you all jacking about, I loved that movie. The scene where he keeps hitting that invisible wall with the knife in the bathroom. Great movie.

The plane engine should have crushed him 5 minutes in and spared us from sparkle motion..

I enjoyed it. It humors me to see fucked up people on television.

I liked that movie. And no, I do not feel like the main character. It kind of reminded me of a David Lynch film - I just wanted to see the whole story unfold.

I love any movie with a good philosophy of time question, and this one was full of potential paradox. Kept my brain churning.

I did think some of the acting was a bit cheesy, though... but I can look past that.
