Senior Prom
 

I didn't go to mine cause I think it's trendy as hell and kinda boring...but I went to the afterprom and it was a blast. My GF is graduating this year and apparently I'm going to her senior prom. I have a $1000 suit...that should suffice, right? It's a nice black one. I see no need to rent a tux.

Also what's with the corsage deal? I guess I need to head to a florist and get one of those? Any other "prom tradition" shit I should know about?

you buy her a flower corsage - something to wear on her wrist - you don't want to fuck up the dress. and not roses - everybody does roses. gardenias are nice - but touch them and they turn brown instantly.

dinner - it's gotta be out of this world. someplace she has never been - and everybody knows about.

get there - and they'll do pictures.

she'll break off to go to the bathroom with her friends.

another prom tradition - is to take lots of pictures of these seneior girls - on the dance floor - spanking each other - and post them on GFY.

and after prom - there will be a party or two to hit.

a black suit - will be fine - a little out of the ordinary - everybody will be in tuxes - but if you put a really flashy shirt with it, then depending on how flashy the shirt is - maybe down play the tie - or do monocrome - tie/shirt - and pocket square -

she'll have a flower - for you to pin to your suit - hope yhou are cool with that - that is what the slit is for ... i suggest having a flat piece of cork that way you can pin through the flower stem - through the slit in the jacket - and into the cork - securely holding on to the flower - with out damaging the jacket
