Kids really underwhelmed with the new Xbox Series X we got him. Do you have a 4K tv Scott?. Honestly cant see much difference on a 1080p tv compared to last gens Xbox. Quicker load times. Does look much better when its 4k though so getting him one in a few weeks for his birthday. Iv played PS5 quite a bit at a friends and its the better console. Again though, unless its being plugged up to a 4k tv its not much better than ps4. Kid is thinking of swapping the Xbox for PS5 so i am hoping they get back in stop soon too

Yep got the 4K tv so....just need the console.

To be honest i'm personally in no rush for it. I just know people that have kids who are still waiting since Xmas which sucks for them.

I went through my PS4 library a few days ago and the amount of games i have which I haven't even played yet means i should technically be messing around with those first before changing console. Although yeah backward compatible etc etc...

As is the case with most big ticket items, I need to wait until a neighbour makes the purchase, so I can break in and steal it during the night...

I got 2 around the beginning of December. One for me, the other as a gift. Same for the new Xbox.

I've played maybe 2 hours on it since then. My Xbox is still in its box. That's the sad part of being an adult I suppose :P No more time for games.

Hmm... Playing it right now at my Xbox One. What's a problem? The people say there are many bugs in it (personally I haven't seen any critical ones), but how it could be related to the consoles? Those are just software errors which must be fixed by the coders.

Yeah. Not worth it at this point. We got the XBox Series X, too, and the Ultimate Game Pass is the best thing going, in gaming.

Tbh i think i have been spoiled by Half Life Alyx VR. I streamed it from my PC to Oculus Quest and its a whole different level of gaming. If you have a graphics card capable of running VR then its a must have experience. Would love PS5 to get its own version of VR as it could easily run games like it but i think they are sticking with the old PSVR from PS4
