I'd say there are 2 meanings of life.

the first is to do something with your life. Find your own personal meaning, or significance, whether it be in a career, raising a family, or some kind of published work or art.


The second, and ultimately most important, is to find happiness doing the first. Happiness is not something you achieve because of success or completion of some set "goals in life" True happiness is found in the day to day cycle of your life. If you can find happiness in the patterns of your day to day life, and find something to pursue on top of that.... Then you, my friend, have found the true meaning of life.
