Mine did too. I didn't listen.
Last year I played ball in the house with my dog, and I kicked him in the teeth with my bare foot as hard as I could. He's fine, my toe snapped in half. Should listen to mom.

...just a follow-up. I didn't find my xrays, but the toe still hasn't (and never will) healed.
