I get hundreds for everything and ANYTHING - how many do you get a day now?

Is this a trick?

I was trying that spam arrest for a few weeks... and it really worked well... until someone told me they were big spammers themselves.

I get about 50 a day. I think they are almost all from my listings in WHOIS.

i never did any spamming. EVER- never needed to.

i would guess 150-200 a day...its fucking unreal! i delete one and 3 are there to replace it. And they all seem to be the same spam over and over...its either: the worlds smallest camera, penis enlargement pills, get a new 4% mortgage rate, and the former leader of some 3rd world country who needs my help to get millions of dollars from some bank in another country.....i wish these guys could work together and instead of sending separate emails send one...it could go something like this:


Help the former leader of Zimbabwe (or what ever 3rd world country) and with all that money you can get penis enlargement pills, then you can take picks of your new monster cock with the worlds smallest camera to show all the women so that they will come to your new house that you got at for the low rate of 4%.....

i say i get about 10 a day, i stopped putting my actual email up to sign up for bullshit sites.. so its calmed down the last few months

Several thousand cause I've rat packed so many fucking domains.
And that's just the one's going to webmaster@. The rest get bounced so I don't know what that number is.

Yeah about 200-300 daily, same mortages, supossed prices won, etc same crap than mostly of you, much worst since last month, not sure why.

methinks its a sign that the spammers are desperately trying to rake in a few final bucks while they can, no longer worried about how heavy they bulk since they know it won't be going on for too much longer. in additiion to many of the common spams mentioned above, lately i've been receiving some charming rape and incest mailings, usually coming in pairs.

if i have to deal w/ a final huge onslaught of spam during the death throes of the so-called spam industry, so be it... i won't shed a tear..

Typically about 5 to 10 a day.... It has really gone down a lot in the past months. I am happy about that. :)

I get about 150 and they are all to do with mortgages, viagra online pharmacies etc. It seems to have slowed down a lot in the last 10 days.

I get way more non adult than adult, which is a shame since I delete those -- the adults I peek at to see whats converting well in mailers ;)

Years of posting my email on adult webmaster boards and giving it out to every free service has found me getting daily notices for everything from penis pills to pasta pots.

Now I cringe every time I have to give out your email address on an online form.

What crazy spam list will *this* eventually end up on?!?

I know people who create multiple yahoo or hotmail accounts to use as ?decoys? when they have to give out their address.
That decoy solution isn?t perfect, but it can help.

But if you have your own domain, I want to show you a more elegant (and useful) way to stay on top of your email game.

Most hosting plans allow you to have a ?catch-all? email address associated with a domain. This means that outside of mailboxes that your specify, *anything*@yourdomain.com will be forwarded to a specific address. Often people will set the catchall address to be [email protected].? Ask your host if you have this ability and how to set it up and manage.

Then, whenever you sign up for something, make up a new address that you can associate with that product, vendor, etc..
So, lets say you sign up for an ID at Fred?s Content Crib and they ask for your email. Give them [email protected]. When you try out PsychoPsubmitter, use [email protected] When you sent in your request for an escort use [email protected]? All of them will forward to your inbox. Getting the picture?

This helps you 3 ways.

When email comes in sent to that address, you?ll be able to associate it with the source (kinda like the tracking codes we use for links.)
If that address gets picked up by a spam list or sold or something, you can simply filter that address into your trash folder or go back to your host and have that email bounce back to the sender.
When you meet a cute girl or guy you can give then your email address as *their name*@yourdomain.com. They will look at you with wide eyes and think your meeting is destiny. Of course, if your domain is slutwhorebitchpig.com? then just give her that old Hotmail address instead. ;)

honestly,I can say I've been getting about 25% less after all these spammers getting sued and it hitting the news...guess it scared SOME people...still getting a lot though

around 350 a day plus all those 1000's of virus emails which get deleted automaticly

I started forwarding them to the sponsors that they were promoting........... I got tired fast! Not only that , the sponsors for the most part didn't give a shit.

When I first read this post I would have said a couple of hundred a day. Now I am getting that many per hour from one porn site in Amsterdam. I wonder if they really think anyone would buy anything from them after getting 200 SPAM in an hour.

What's Spam?

I get about 40 a day on my main email address. About 5 on my hotmail address. And NONE on my gmx address. :)
