Paypal entering Crypto

What do you think? Does this open the door further for adult processing

PayPal Will Soon Let US Users Buy, Sell and Shop With Cryptocurrency

sandman! 10-21-2020 08:37 AM

na i dont see paypal entering adult too much fraud in their mind to bother

ilnjscb 10-21-2020 08:38 AM

They're a shitty company - I wouldn't be surprised if they're funded by the US government - all they seem to want to do is churn, take fees, and act as if they're a mini IRS.

Did they announce the exact date?

Indeed.

It won't change their stance on adult. But, it may help in the uptake and acceptance of cryptocurrencies, especially if they can make it seamless for users.

Skrill support crypto for a while but it's not real support, but "pseudo" support where you buy virtual crypto with which you can buy/sell inside system but cant send elsewhere. Possible how it will be same thing on paypal.

pornguy 10-21-2020 10:23 AM

Paypal built their company off porn. Then all of a sudden it was an issue.

My first thought when i read this. Could make bitcoin bigger and more accepted though

Crypto is too unstable. It's like paying with casino chips. No thanx.

Webmoney.ru works with crypto for a couple of years. It's also like a pseudo crypto but you can convert it to any currency you want any moment, then cash it.

What's a problem with casino chips? ;)

NakedWomenTime 10-21-2020 12:41 PM

It's good for further Bitcoin adoption.

Of course it is. PayPal says that now people will be able to buy goods in millions of shops via their system. This may actually turn Bitcoin into a real currency - a competitor to $ and €.

If an adult company was truly innovative they'd be using Btcpayserver.org for direct p2p BTC payments without 3rd party fees/communism/permissions. It's early and there are downfalls (for now) but it's improving daily.

No need for they, them, and the rest.

I know it's not easy to understand , but if you still can't/refuse to realize it after decades, man, you deserve to continue dragging an anchor :Oh crap

No I got it man. I've got a full Bitcoin. :)

But as your stats show the BTC price has stagnated for the past three years and counting. I would've made more with a solid 401K over the same time period. Or gold. Or real estate. Or stocks. Or mutual funds. Or...you get the idea. :thumbsup

How do you think Paypal is going to know who's paying what with crypto?
They won't.

HairyChick 10-21-2020 05:16 PM

I received the email from PayPal. I wouldn’t trust them with my money.

Look Chang 10-21-2020 07:00 PM

I would not contact them. Bitcoin is valuable on its own, not integrated into some company.
