I'm moving, and just now I found out that I probably can't get a cable connection in my new home. :(
So, I'll be paying 5 times as much for a tenth of the speed on dialup :feels-hot

Your checklist is wrong.

Things to look for in a place when moving

1) Cable/DSL
2) A whole bunch of other crap

are you moving to Ukraine or something ?

My list was something more like:
1) I'll be homeless if I don't find something soon
2) I find something
3) I take it

Huge housing shortage here, waiting lists of more than a year.

Close. Appartment in a building that'll be wrecked next year.
