How long do you sleep every night?

If you sleep less than 6 hours per night, how is the quality of your decisions?

shake 09-19-2020 09:12 PM

Only about 7 and it's not enough.

Biggie Smalls Web Writing 09-19-2020 10:05 PM

6-7 hours.
8 would be ideal

Spunky 09-19-2020 11:59 PM

Maybe 5 off and on if I'm lucky

yuu.design 09-20-2020 12:18 AM

some times 5 hours, others more than 8/9 hours, and couple days a month more than 12 hours

pornlaw 09-20-2020 12:26 AM

4-5 hrs...

Paul&John 09-20-2020 12:27 AM

lately 8-9

xpreggo 09-20-2020 01:02 AM

Around 6-7 hours

LetterTwenty7 09-20-2020 01:28 AM

Interesting question. If I sleep less than usual which is 6-7h, the quality of decision making goes down after 3-4 days. Then I need to catch up mostly in the afternoon.

MatureKing 09-20-2020 02:07 AM

I dont know how long, but my dick wake me up

adultchatpay 09-20-2020 03:14 AM

5 hours, then 30min power nap in the afternoon.

CurrentlySober 09-20-2020 04:37 AM

Depends upon if I soil the bed or not. If

I don't, I need to wake up properly after a few hours to try and do it.

If it happens naturally, the enjoyable warm feeling relaxes me and I sleep like a baby....

AmeliaG 09-20-2020 05:30 AM

My sleep schedule fluctuates all the time and it is really inconvenient. I've paid for sooooo much sleep testing and tracking and sleep doctors.

One great thing about being a webmaster is that our sleep schedules can be totally bizarre, but we can still crush our jobs. Which is pretty awesome.

ilnjscb 09-20-2020 06:07 AM

4 hours or less, but once every few months the stars align and I can sleep for 12 hours. I use caffeine to wake up, and before I've had coffee, I'm less coherent. Sometimes I read emails I've sent right when I awaken or during the night, and I think "Oh shit".

This. I have learned NOT to communicate until after the iced coffee. LOL

Sleep about 6 hours on average.

djroof 09-20-2020 08:50 AM

6-7 hours and always wake up at 05:00

Had a buddy of mine spend tens of thousands of dollars and none of it worked.

The only way he and others (including myself) have slain that demon is a proper decompression environment. Changing your surroundings to a more subdued and mellow vibe does wonders. If only for a few weeks... More is better...

Like, say, a nice island in Asia in a bungalow on a pristine beach with just a laptop and NO TV.

Experiencing new environments and traveling the World brings perspective to wondering minds. Let the body wonder with it and sync up.

Your productivity will skyrocket. I sincerely hope this is helpful to its readers. Peace

8-9 ....

SekobA 09-20-2020 01:57 PM

Around 7h ..I cant remember when was the last time I woke up without alarm

HairyChick 09-20-2020 02:10 PM

Two or three hours if I’m lucky. Some nights I don’t sleep.

SBJ 09-20-2020 02:20 PM

6-7 but there is always one day a week I sleep for 12-16 hours.

newB 09-20-2020 03:14 PM

Not too long, but I make up for it in girth.

OneHungLo 09-20-2020 03:58 PM

For the people that get 2-4 hours of sleep a night, do you feel like total shit all day or do you feel rested?

I do have the occasional night where I might get only 4-5 hours and I'm fine but the next night I have to get a good night's sleep or I'm totally drained the next day after that.

deadbabes 09-20-2020 04:30 PM

Four hours at night. 2-6 am then two more 3-5 pm. It's a vicious habit I can't seem to shake. Decision making is good until noon or so.

Finley 09-20-2020 04:43 PM

I think most of people sleep around 4 or 6 hours , because of stress

I actually feel relief when I get up. Once I have my coffee I'm good.

EddyTheDog 09-20-2020 08:23 PM

Denny BongaCash 09-21-2020 05:58 AM

trying to sleep not less than 7 hours, feeling bad if not :Oh crap

Major (Tom) 09-21-2020 07:19 AM

8-9, 10 on a weekend

Rochard 09-21-2020 10:24 AM

Seven and half hours every night. Like clockwork.

sonofsam 09-21-2020 12:08 PM

Those articles that always pop up about how a lot of big CEOs sleep 5 or 6 hours a day and are still super efficient are complete bullshit. The science is pretty clear that you need more sleep than that to perform at your best.

I love also so I sleep at least 8-9 hours every night

That sounds awesome. I'd planned to do something kind of like that this year ... but COVID.

I bought a house in Vegas partly because I could separate out my workspace more than in Hollywood, like for the decompression space you are talking about. Vegas homes are bigger in general than LA ones and, for anyone used to LA prices, they are like free. It helps when I am in Vegas, but not as much as I wish.

King Mark 09-21-2020 04:57 PM

I aim for 6 straight hours. Succeed most of the time. I try to sneak naps in here and there but I always wake up pissed off from them so it's probably better that I don't succeed in getting those in most of the time.

Did you have any success with doctors monitoring your sleep?

Do they try to suggest things to help you sleep or just prescribe you drugs?

I've had insomnia and crazy sleeping habits since I was a little kid. Thank god for self employment because with my sleeping schedule I'd never be able to hold down a 9-5.

davidCRM 09-22-2020 12:19 AM

7h on average

There is one magical thing called caffeine which helps with such thing :)

Yes i was studying this on myself , but so far no evidence which could support these theory, tho during summer time my sleep is disrupted due heat so i end sleeping 6 hours by average , but with temperature drop i am on normal 8 hours time.

jay23 09-22-2020 02:09 AM

I have trouble falling a sleep and then I get up tired, and I have to take a nap after lunch time. Check for thyroid issues, all normel. Doc put me on 10mg of ambian , that shit knoks me out but still tired in the morning.
