wow....Germans spend money!! They're up there with the UK and Canada!!! I don't think they beat France, but there are a LOT of Germans who spend money on porn....

If they don't accept the German traffic, I sure hope they give you an option where to send it...if not, they're raping you because those Germans are paying for SOMETHING....

Siccash is conducting dialer filtering tests. Surfers from filtered countires are most likely not able to signup for the site anyways.

Many sponsors filter ALL traffic to their tours, we do not.

We will run this test for a few days as we try to justify the balance of large bandwidth bills these hosted galleries rack up.

How come the only way the webmasters find out about this redirecting is through a board or from a surfer and not usually the sponsor program??

Sic isn't the only one doing it. There are dozens of programs starting it. The problem is I am not in a filtered country and I don't find out until it's too late.

Reminds me of the birth of popup windows on paysites. Taking your traffic and funneling them into programs you don't get paid for. Now it's just standard practice to take entry and exit hits and no one complains.

Soon people will just be stuck with the fact that some countries traffic will not be making them money. Unless a sponsor does the right thing and splits dialer or alternate revenue with the webmasters sending them the filtered country hits in the first place.

Might help some of us actually pay the bandwidth huh??

Exactly what greg said... most of the countries that sponsors do filter are "unbillable" countries by credit card or checks. To offset the bandwidth costs, most sponsors will redirect to dialers. While not too many companies will go out publicly and state we won't pay for certain countries, webmasters can install geo-tracking themselves and avoid sending traffic so sponsors who won't pay for certain countries. I'm not sure why germany is on that list, but that's SIC's choice to make and if you don't like it, you can just avoid sending german hits to them.

Germany is FAR from "unbillable".....Poland...yes...Germany, Hell no....I don't even push white girls and I have a small niche site and even I know that when I see a signup with that .de extension, I know it's gold!!

Germans spend money and they DO have credit cards....I'm a witness to it...

Alex From Montreal... there are resources out there that tell you what countries are billable and what are not ...just send your Non-Billable to the sponsor :Graucho

pre-paid is the only way to go. that way if someone fucks with gallery you already got their money and can cancel the postings.

I use my creditcard to sign up for sites,
I also did when I lived in Holland and the transactions went through every time.

Checking my own members,
I have sales from most European countries,
so I don't think that they are unbillable.


And if they are going to use a dialer,
don't use an international dialer for Spain,
use a fucking local one, get paid twice the rate and get many
more minutes because its a Spanish number and not an international one.
