Do you ever stop WORKING?
Imagine if you could bill someone for all the hours your time is REALLY worth.
|
lets see, got to the office at 10am, left at 8pm, ate dinner for 1 hour, worked in homeoffice until now, its 3am... will go to sleep around 4, so we're lookin at a typical webmaster 16 hour day

That always adds to the fun. I really have a hard time saying no to friends. |
Hmmm, I live in Australia, dealing with biz in the US quite a bit lately..
Know the feeling of a long working day! I gave up thinking I could catch some ZZZ's tonight... decided to work through. Hell, it's 4:20am! Gotta be up in a couple of hours and travel into the office! pffft - coffee and coke does wonders! ahhhh, and I don't even work for myself and get a standard 40hr per week wage! Well done to those who are commited to their jobs - working for self or others... Who's up for a pay rise?! :P JBean |
My main office is at home, so no I love working at all hours.

After my first hour I wouldn't have to work any more. :)

i think most of you guys are telling fibs, if u worked 16 hours every single day and sometimes didnt sleep then your productivity levels and quality would just go WELL down.. use common sense, work smarter not harder and longer.

Sleeping half the weekend has helped me get through... Won't be going too late tonight that's for sure!
Darren, your 100% right - it does effect production (hence the reason half of us are on GFY in the first place! *grinz*) But having downtime when you can get it usually balances it out. For me anyways. 75% hard work, 25% research/reading etc... By then your ready for sleep! I'm off to get ready to go into the office! Enjoy! |
