Hi,

Is there anyone who have ordered galleries from The Gallery People that has actually received anything?

Yeah actually I had a 100 gallery order filled, half a dozen or so custom templates, and about 30 avs feeder sites.
They dropped off the planet awhile back.
Joe apparently had appendicitis, was out for a long time, and said he was getting back to work trying to catch things up. Haven't heard from them since then.

I have about $200 worth of work outstanding from February, and several people I know are also waiting on their stuff. (Hopefully they're not holding thier breath)

It was good while it lasted. *shrugs shoulders*

I've spoken to Joe recently and he's had his share of troubles. I think his idea grew too quickly. I've waiting on about 30 galleries myself for over 2 months. Hopefully he'll get it straightened out and i'll see my pages soon. Patience is a bitch. :)

He's had some medical issues so I know he is wayyyyy behind. I agree, his gllery making took off a lot more than he probably thought it would.

I've met him and he seems very trustworthy so I think the galleries will get to you (and me) eventually.

You will definitely get your galleries he's not gonna run off on you but may take a long time. Joe could have much less loads if the other gallery designers started offering the prices as him but hey the others rather get 1 X $35 gallery order every so often so they could hang out on gfy all day :winkwink:

ok, looks like I'm not the only one not getting anything.

I just ordered a new website with a 10day garantee :)
so if it takes longer I get that website for free...

and yeah.. pffff their 21days are definitly much much longer.. but the result of those galleries is great

Wanted to thank everyone for the kind words!
Yes we got way behind due to some medical issues but I did want to let everyone know that we are getting caught up quickly.
There is still a pretty good wait on all new order running about 30 days, but everyone that knows us can tell you that ALL orders do get delivered and with the same standard of quality that we've strived to amintain since we started.

Our galleries are priced to be affordable to all WMs and we do build for quite a few clients, so the demand for our dervices is usually quite high, this does create a wait time on orders. Coupled with the recent down time for medical issues, we did get about 2 months behind, but we are still here and going strong.

If you need galleries tomorrow, you would be better suited to find a different provider for your custom galleries, and there are quite a few designers that post here on GFY that produce quality galleries. If, on the other hand, you want our product, prices and can wait up to 30 days, please feel free to email.

Again, thank you to all those that sent get well wishes and that have stuck by us through the down time, your loyalty is very much appreciated. We will deliever EVERY gallery that has been on the delay block and will make certain that new orders (while we have to be a bit selective as to any new orders we take in right now) will get delivered in a timely manner.

Has anyone had an update concerning their galleries from Gallery People?

We? all of you had medical issues? Sorry, pal, but either this sounds too fishy or you're just a 1 person business with too much work between hands and not enough time to do it in this life. What's the advantage in price if you gotta wait 3 or 4 months? The whole Internet could vanish in that time! :feels-hot

I'm waiting on galleries from them too and would have liked them yesterday but shit happens I guess. I could have paid more and received inferior work in 24 hours...is that a better solution?

And what's wrong with 1 person businesses lol...that's about 95% of the people on this board.

I use to net $900/day using free content provided my sponsor which was hosted on their free host. I didn't use a script, and I did the work myself.

I guess for about $27,000/month I should have gotten out of this business.

There's nothing wrong with it, I was one of those persons for a couple of years, until I realized the work was too much. But if you can't do the work, you shouldn't take it. You're screwing people. Period.

Joe sent over a couple of mine the other day and says he's ready to upload the rest. The 2 I got looked good, hope the rest are too. :-)

I only can say: read this thread and you'll know why sometimes is better to pay a little more. Kickass quality, only 3 days later just because I wanted Harvey himself to make them and a guy I feel like caring about customers. And all that for a price I'm not allowed to reveal but better than most crappy designers :winkwink:
