How many hours a week do you work?

I expected to be way more productive during lockdown, but I only managed to squeeze in a couple of hours or so of extra work each week. The last few months haven't been a drastic change for me because I have had virtually no social life for a while, but I still expected to be able to get far more done.

This year I average about 20 hours a week. But I only count actual work. I have a stopwatch and pause it every time I take a glance at the headlines or look at Facebook, or come on here, lol. I guess most office workers only do around 20 hours of productive work a week, if that.

Today I decided to do a little bit of work before breakfast as soon as I got up. It was hard as it takes me a little while to wake up, but it's not even 11 am here and I've done nearly 3 hours of work already. I'm not counting posting this thread as work, although if I get any good tips on increasing productivity in the replies I might.

brassmonkey 07-01-2020 04:28 AM

i need to go back up to 8-10 hours since my mainstream is doing well

CaptainHowdy 07-01-2020 04:45 AM

I call it work but in reality it's full-fledged fantasy ...

SpeedoDave 07-01-2020 03:26 PM

I always want to work more but this week I've played tennis twice, run 20kms, swum every day, went sailing yesterday and about to head out for a round of golf.

I wish I had more time to work.... I make more money working than on the golf course.

About 15 hours/week working as webmaster
About 8 hours/week looking at boobs and asses
About 3 hours/week making love with professionals
About 1 hour not every week making free love with candid amateurs
About the time I spend to drink beer, I forgot... :stoned

NatalieK 07-02-2020 01:54 AM

from waking to sleep i´m working, but i also have plenty of time to relax, sunbathe, out down the beach or enjoying a meal out in a restaurant, when i want and for as long as i want.

Average day, 10hr, doesn´t matter to my fans whether it´s weekend or week day, i´ll send them a private clip or some pics...

:thumbsup

w4mmaps 07-02-2020 02:17 AM

Approx 20 hours/week here.

RyuLion 07-02-2020 11:02 AM

10 hrs. a day @ 7 days a week. Sometimes only 5 hrs on weekends when I go hiking.

geirlur 07-02-2020 01:53 PM

3-4 hours a day.. I'd love to squeeze in a couple hours more but at the moment I can't find anything else productive to do :/

ilnjscb 07-02-2020 02:05 PM

What is different the 6 weeks? Just teeing stuff up to autopilot the rest of the year?

Exactly! :thumbsup

Mr Pheer 07-02-2020 06:21 PM

So far this week I've done about 50 hours, and it's only Thursday. I'm trying to get something finished before the holiday weekend and then I'm spending quality time with my grill.

King Mark 07-03-2020 02:19 PM

I work all the time. Phones are awesome.

sandman! 07-03-2020 03:42 PM

20-60 depends on the week

Spunky 07-03-2020 10:12 PM

I give the man 40 hours and all overtime is double-time.

adultchatpay 07-04-2020 02:55 AM

I don't work continuously for a certain day.
2hrs in the morning - break - 2hrs noon - break - 2hrs afternoon - break -
Around 6 hrs daily and i can do a lot of other things in between

OldJeff 07-04-2020 03:46 AM

I am not sure the last time I was not working, of course it's not like I work hard, EVER, last time I did that was like 2012

Twoface31 07-04-2020 03:51 AM

Zuzana Designs 07-04-2020 04:45 AM

This is how it should be.

jiguideveloper 07-04-2020 05:54 AM

I enjoy my work so I never count how many hours I spent in a day

jscott 07-04-2020 11:11 AM

I probably work 1-80 hrs/week, depending on mood
(and like jiguidev, I also enjoy my work so wouldn't count :) )

ilnjscb 07-04-2020 04:56 PM

I ask not disrespectfully, but genuinely curious, how do you people that work 12+ hours a day find time to do other things? When do you walk, cook, read, exercise, do your hobbies? When I am in one of my work weeks, I don't have time for anything else.

How many hours do I work? or How many hours do I "work"?..

2 very different questions.....

Seriously - I just watched a 2 hour video on MongoDB - Was that work? - If I worked for a company and I needed to know about MongDB the answer would be a definite yes - However, I work for myself and keeping up with this stuff is important for what I do, but was watching that video "work"?..

shake 07-05-2020 12:09 AM

Only 10 or so right now. Was really pushing out a mainstream project for the last few months.

True, it is big question what exactly is defined as work, plus does work provide results or not.

I would definitely say it's work under the category of "Research & Development".

I've made the grave mistake in the past of not continually learning/improving work-related skills & tech knowhow... I realize i would have made twice the money if I had known just a few more things when I started out. There is a big danger in this business of not even knowing what you don't know.

Now I make sure I am learning daily. I start my work day with 20 minutes on a tech course on udemy/youtube while having coffee. Just the other day I spent 2 hours learning React Hooks cuz i got tired of hearing about it and not knowing how it works. now i do. :) I am presently working slowly but surely to complete the AWS Solutions Architect course on udemy. awesome. one of these days I am going to take a Photoshop course lol.

The fact we all deal in the tech/web world means part of our work requirements is to stay current and continually improving on our tech skills to maximize our efficiency, production and income. :2 cents:

if you call watching porn as research - a LOT!

PornDude 07-07-2020 12:21 PM

Fuck me. 12 a day.

candyflip 07-07-2020 12:34 PM

8 hours a day editing and doing motion graphics most days, with the occasional shoot that can be anywhere from 1-5 days long at this point. Mostly moving slowly and getting less done because we're working with 3 people instead of the usual 7-10.

I've been doing multicam live streaming of all sorts of events from weddings to funerals, on the side. That business has been doing VERY WELL. Booked 2 more events today for another $4000 for what will amount to about 10 hours or work. Both paid in full, up front.

I've written 3 short films and have one pretty much ready to shoot. So I've been productive on that end as well.

FapDude 08-04-2020 06:03 AM

When you do what you like, it's called hobby.
