Damn it breaks my heart to see artists/Designers destroy themselves by underselling, under bidding and killing their value to the industry.

Designers could be one of the highest paid peeps in the industry but oh no....

Why's that? Good design may look good but it doesn't necessarily convert. Some of the best-performing sites I've encountered had piss-poor asthetics.

Exactly and thats why there is mass amounts of work going for cheap! Some clients come back some dissappear. The one's that dissappear are the ones who didn't convert!
The ones who do come back for work know what they are doing and know where advertise.
