Google PageRank Checker Site (no toolbar needed)
 

I read many posts saying that you couldn´t check your PageRank without the toolbar. So check this site:

Have you found any PR different from the ones given by the toolbar? I tried some, and all were correct.

I think that page is a scam.

That one is the only incorrect. I found that too, LOL!
I tried more 15 sites, and all were good, even big ones. That google bug was strange... I guess it only happens with PR10. Maybe the system was made to work with PR´s from 1 to 9. Let me try a site with PR 0 to see what we get...

Don´t you know what 4/10 means????
Install the Google Toolbar, and you´ll find out. Each site you surf to, will have a PageRank associated (a green bar), and that will show aprox. your PR. If you let the cursor above the green bar (don´t click it), you´ll see your PR on that form (x/10).

It would be nice if this works...

What IP? The only IP that could be banned, is the one from the user that is making the requests :) So don´t abuse!
No I didn´t code that. I have very limited knowledge of coding :)

Well.. since the toolbar is fetching the PR of every URL you visit (if you got the toolbar installed) I guess his requests could blend away in the requestflood =).

Dont know if google even bans abusers IPs .. but if they do, he could just use a proxy or get a new IP.

And maybe they are using Google´s API. The only problem with that is the limited number of requests (1,000 automated queries per day).
That´s legal, and even promoted by Google.

I think many ppl have tried to crack the PR checking functions in the toolbar DLL and I guess some have succeded too. Putting it on display on a webpage like that is just asking for google to change their checksumalgo though .. buuut I guess it wont ever be uncrackable.

I don´t know too. But I didn´t make the script, I only told you about it, so it´s no my problem. A person that tells you about something, isn´t responsable for it, or the newspapers would be in jail :p
