I remember collecting them, just a regular passing fad that lost interest after a few months.

Ya geez I remember those....was an intense fad for a few months, then quickly passed......I remember they used to have Slammers too...those expensive metal things.

IIRC, Slammers were what you used to slam your stack of pogs. And whatever landed face up, you kept. Or something like that.

Thats hilarious, my uncles company was the originator of those and the maufacturer. We are still always looking for the next fad.:thumbsup

Yes he did publically but not behind the scenes. It was all originated in the basement of my uncles house in the suburbs of chicago. He still maintains the largest trading card distributor in the 50 states. But ya your correct in that statement to a degree
