Im interested in 2 features:

1. When the user signs up for free to place an ad, i want to get paid! lol

2. It would be nice to have recurring sales on payed memberships!


Right now i use redpersonals which is working out great, but id like to give my surfers a few more options. Ive built a good stream of dating traffic.

Could you guys post the ratios from your traffic for
1. click / free membership
2. free membership / paying membership
for dating sites that you promote?
I'm working on improving http://www.megafriends.com and making it more attractive for affiliates to promote and I'd like to know what we're doing well or wrong.

Here's my ratios with DatingGold for last period:

1441 402 3 1:480


1:3.58 for free joins,
1:134 from free to pay
1:480 overall


We have some guys doing 1:8 from click to paid sale. SE traffic does AWESOME! Anything that isnt forced will do very well.
This is for 3 days that period using 404 traffic mainly. I got about 7 more free joins and 1 more sale from that traffic in the next period, so that improves it a bit, also, people can take a while to upgrade from free to pay, it might be 2 weeks later... ya never know.

We do 1:4 - 1:13 for click/free for semi-targeted traffic
and 1:16 - 1:80 free/pay and I was a bit jealous of the advertised rates of 1:10 free/pay for some sites...

What is the average retention/rebill count for a paid member on dating sites? (a number from an affiliate would be more helpful than one from a site :) )
